Do I have to dress up to participate in the Run/Walk?
No, it is up to you! If you do not have a Cape no worries we have one printed on the back of the t-shirts for registered runners/walkers. It sure is fun though!
How do I sign up? What’s the difference in signing up as a team or an individual?
Sign up at www.Active.com You will need a minimum of 5 people(no max) to sign up as a group. This a fun way to get many of your co-workers and/or friends together as a SUPER GROUP and create some fun SUPER HERO names! This is not a “relay” group participants can run together or at their own pace. The object is to represent!
Is The SUPER HERO 5K timed?
THE SUPER HERO 5k is not a timed event. The object of this run is to get out whether you are running solo or with a group and have some CRAZY FUN! For the SUPER SPEEDY HEROS you may want to time yourself.
Is there an age limit? Can I run with a jogging stroller and my kids? Pets?
SUPER HEROES come in all shapes, sizes and ages! Kids 6 and under run for FREE of charge and do not need to register (sorry no packet). Registration is required for Ages 7 & Up. Kids are welcome to run with their registered parents. Yes, stollers and baby joggers are welcome! Sorry NO DOGS are allowed at the race.
What is included with THE SUPER HERO registration?
Runners/Walkers will receive a custom Super Hero 5K t-shirt, Super Hero wristband, race number, temporary tatoo, window decal and Sponsor Goodies. Race Packets will NOT be mailed to you!
How do I get my packet?
Packets will be given out the day of the race from 7am to 8:30am.
What charity do you sponsor?
We are passionate about supporting the Boys and Girls Clubs. Donations will be made to the local chapters in the cities were The SUPER HERO 5K Run/Walks are taking place.
Can spectators attend the post-race SUPER HERO 5K Event?
YOU BETCHA! The more people we have the more SUPER ENERGY we have at the event. Please encourage family and friends out to cheer on all of our SUPER HEROES!
Are there refunds?
Unfortunately, we cannot issue refunds. In the event you will not be able to attend the race please make arrangements for packet pick-up so you do not miss out on the SUPER goodies!
How do I transfer my registration to another person?
Go to myevents.active.com and login to your account. Choose the option “Transfer registration to another athlete” and then enter the email address of the person you are transferring it to. Or click on the link in your registration confirmation email that says “transfer to someone else” and it will prompt you to put the email address in for the person you are transferring it to. Once they claim their registration, it will refund your payment (minus the active.com processing fee) and ask the person receiving the transfer to pay the CURRENT price of the registration. Transferring will be available up until a week before the race.
